About Me
My name is Enjy Amir. During my four years studying Digital Arts and Design and majoring in UX/UI design, I learned much more than just how to design screens. I’ve always been drawn to design because I love the mix of creativity and problem-solving and UX is about understanding people and making their lives easier, which is why User experience and User interface became the core of my journey. I’ve always wanted to travel to Europe, and do my work from there, i figured the appreciate creativity.
Skills in UX|UI
- I learned how to truly understand users through user research, empathy mapping, and usability testing, and how to put myself in their shoes to design human-centered interfaces.
- My skills grew in wireframing, prototyping, responsive web design, and mobile app design, applying interaction design principles and design thinking to create clean, satisfying, and functional digital experiences.
- I became comfortable with Figma, FigJam, and Adobe Creative.
- Thanks to the introduction of user interface, i now know i’m good at creating logos.
- the branding course (a subcourse in UX | UI )taught me i love rebranding it’s like a makeover.
My Struggles in User Interface
Working in a field like ux| ui is not for the weak.
Managing deadlines to handover my ui prototype is a struggle to me. I prefer Working in teams and going out, however most of the time the user interface has to be all done by me from scratch. Explaining What user experience & interface are is so hard to people, they don’t get the value or the work we put.
I can specialize in a part of the work that i think im really good at or comfortable doing, like User Research. UX UI is Kind of new in egypt, so hopefully there would be al ot of job offers. the work hours are flexible, for example i can work remotely while im on vacation. Ux designers really impact people’s lives. UI Design lets me express my creativity while helping people, so it’s a win win. USER EXPERIENCE & USER INTERFACE is limitless, Even though i don’t think i’ll actively work in the ux | ui field, i gained so many skills so i think i have a variety of career options.
